IslandWorks - Precision valve covers

Introducing the IslandWorks Precision Valve Covers for Porsche 964 and 993 — engineered to bring modern ignition technology, precision manufacturing and a cleaner engine bay to the classic air-cooled flat-six.

Machined from solid 6061 billet aluminium using 5-axis CNC machining, each valve cover is designed with the same focus on function, precision and detail that defines every IslandWorks component.

The covers feature integrated mounting points for individual ignition coils, eliminating the need for separate coil brackets and creating a clean, compact installation directly at the cylinder heads. The system uses coils with the same fitment as Porsche 991 coils, featuring integrated ignitors for a modern ignition setup.

A dedicated camshaft position sensor mount is also integrated into the design, making the valve covers particularly suited to modern engine-management systems and high-performance air-cooled builds.

Finished in black anodizing for durability and a purposeful appearance, the Precision Valve Covers are designed to look at home on anything from a carefully restored 964 or 993 to a fully developed restomod or motorsport-inspired engine.
