Return policy
Please contact Islandworks AB by emailing info@islandworks.ose before returning any items.

You can return the product within 30 days of delivery. The refund will be issued to the original method of payment. The product must be in new condition. If the product is ruined or used the product shall not be refunded. Make sure to include contact information with the return and if possible, please provide us with a tracking number and a brief description of your case.

You will be responsible for return shipping, a restocking fee, or any other applicable charges. Islandworks AB suggests you get a receipt and a package ID for the return from the delivery service, as it makes it easier to follow the return shipment if needed. Islandworks AB will make a refund of eligible returns. If you paid by invoice, we will need a bank account number to transfer the money back to. The easiest way is to e-mail it to us.


Shipping

To return your product, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don't guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

All product shipments from Islandworks AB are made on an Incoterms CIF/CIP basis. Islandworks AB is not responsible for customs declarations or the shipment itself, as ownership of the goods is transferred to the purchaser at the point of outgoing shipment.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders), digital products and services. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on Used Parts.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it and unused. Shipping costs are non-refundable and the return shipping costs are your responsibility. Refunds
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can't offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Limitation of liability
Islandworks AB is not liable for any damages, personal, asset or any other kind as a result of use/misuse of our products. The products sold are customized motorsport items bought and used at your own risk.

 

Warranty 
Products and items sold have a warranty of defects related to material and workmanship of 12 months from the date of purchase. Any item suspected to be defect should be reported back to Islandworks AB.
